Going to write in English this week, in case anyone's parents happen to be on this site checking things out for the end-of-the-six-weeks push.

MONDAY: Review last week's exam. Discuss the honor code. Workbooks are due today. Draw for presentation slots. Peer edit timed writings. Stem-changing verb worksheet assigned; due WEDNESDAY.

TUESDAY: Last chance for me to review drafts of presentations. You will spend the period chanting your presentation to anyone who will listen.

WEDNESDAY: College info day. Stem-changing verb worksheet due.

THURSDAY and FRIDAY: Presentations: You must speak from memory for at least 2 but no more than 3 minutes about your family and the crest you have made to represent it. The crest must conform to the size/shape requirements that I specified, and must include your family's surname, an animal, a (human) body part, and a motto. The only thing on the crest that may be in English is the surname; any and ALL other words must be in Spanish. You received a rubric which outlines how your grade will be derived.

The six weeks ends 29 Feb and six weeks' averages go live on ParentConnect next week. Your six weeks' average will be posted in my class Monday, 3 March.
