I can't remember!)Glory be to the heavens... the SUN CAME OUT yesterday so my crew headed to the pool... where we played Uno, ate popcorn and Rice Krispie treats, and got more sunburned than we planned. And yes, that is the HOT TUB that we are in... the pool water was just a little too cold, even in the 90ยบ heat of the day.
Back to the popcorn for a second... we found this great shop in downtown McKinney called Mom and Popcorn. They have 46 flavors of popcorn... everything from traditional buttered popcorn to more exotic stuff like grape and honey mustard. The coolest thing they have is "cornfetti", which is all the fruit flavors combined.. pineapple, grape, cherry, strawberry, green apple, coconut... the mix is really brightly colored and thoroughly disgusting... I cannot wait to eat that again!
I started reading Teacher Man, and let me tell you, the PROLOGUE was phenomenal... I read it four times and then reluctantly started the book because I didn't think anything could live up to the greatness of the prologue... I was wrong (thankfully). Great book... can't wait to barrel though it this week. Hopefully the sun will stay out long enough for us to return to the pool several more times!
