NINETEEN DAYS!
Guaranteed to be the fastest month of our lives, this one. It's like we spend all year counting the days until summer and then once it is upon us we just don't want to leave!
A couple of things about this week: Friday we will be having our Cinco de Mayo celebration. Friday is actually Cuatro de Mayo but we'll overlook that. First period won't be able to participate because I am going to be in a meeting. But 2nd-7th periods... we need to make some plans. For sure we are going to go outside and destroy piñatas... and I will give you the history of the holiday... but other than that, what do you want the day to look like? Post your suggestions here.
I suppose I should warn you that I am not very polite with the piñata. I purposely aim it at your head and try to frustrate you so that instead of hitting it, you end up hitting the tree or your own face. Don't even think about trying to outsmart me.... and remember, I'VE GOT THE CAMERA.
AND: I put your progress report grades up before I left Friday. Overall, your grades are great. Just remember that you've only got 3 weeks to resurrect your average if it is not where you want it to be, and then a final exam that is pretty lengthy and difficult... BE PREPARED.
