I love Rene Magritte... love his stuff, I think he was a genius... Paul Simon even wrote a song about him and I think Paul Simon is America's greatest living songwriter (another post).
But this painting... how it is part daylight and part nighttime... is such a metaphor for life. I will leave it at that and let you decide if that makes sense. What do you think? I have got to get a poster of it to hang in my room... I keep saying I am going to do that and then keep forgetting to buy one.
