Freedom Writers' Club

Many of you have emailed me or posted here asking what it is...

We actually don't know yet. Those of us sponsoring (Schreff, Powell, Sekander, Branson, Salas and me) decided that we would get all of you together for an organizational meeting and see what YOU want it to be. Do you want to write and then share what you wrote? Do you want us to assign topics? Do you want to spend club time sharing or actually writing? Do you want a forum where you can share personal things but not necessarily writing? (I realize this would negate the club name somewhat.) Anyway, these are things we don't know and don't want to decide for you because this is YOUR club.

If you have ideas... you can post them here. Schreff reads my page, so she will see your comments. We want anyone and everyone to join. At least come to the first meeting... if you decide not to come back, that's cool.

The first meeting is March 15, before school AND after school. (There are two.) Either in the cafeteria or student center or auditorium, can't remember, but I'll let you know.
