*HOMECOMING WEEK*
In SpanishLand, we will continue working with ser, translating, speaking, and using our first verb! Pretty soon we will be able to talk about something besides Paco being from Guadalajara.
This is also the end of the six weeks and exam retakes (only if you failed the exam, and only if you are NOT in Pre-AP) must be completed by FRIDAY the 15th. Six weeks' averages will be on ParentConnect no later than Sunday the 17th.
For Homecoming, Lowery has a different theme each day and we encourage students to participate. Most of the teachers do, as well. 4th period classes are participating in the door-decorating contest, with a PIZZA PARTY as the prize for the best-decorated door!
So here's the plan for the week:
MONDAY- TEAM JERSEY DAY
Quiz over the forms of ser. This was announced in class Friday as we learned the forms. You will be responsible for giving me what was on the chart in the PowerPoint show.
After that, we will do more with ser.
TUESDAY- TWIN DAY
Return quizzes. Watch GramaVisión (the talking beans) and do related activities.
Translation exercise after.
WEDNESDAY- CRAZY DAY
Pre-AP classes: write announcements
Regular classes: conversation illustrations
THURSDAY- SPIRIT DAY (MUMS & GARTERS), PEP RALLY 6TH
Finish announcements and illustrations.
FRIDAY- SPIRIT DAY (MUMS & GARTERS)
Chapter video and Spanish cultural information
A great end to an exciting week!
