Last week we learned colors, Spanish-speaking countries and their capitals, and a few greetings and responses. We took a quiz over the colors and the alphabet, and the Pre-AP classes took an exam over the countries and capitals as well.
This week:
MONDAY/TUESDAY
Continue greetings; add ¿Cómo estás? and Tengo que irme to our list of phrases.
Learn how to introduce others. Add some "people" vocab (classmate, Spanish teacher, etc.) Also learn how to ask where someone is from and tell someone where you are from.
Learn the concept of "usted" when greeting someone.
WEDNESDAY
Quiz over greetings. Learn subject pronouns. Practice, practice, practice with them--- subject pronouns are one of those things that you absolutely have to know for the rest of Spanish to mean anything!
THURSDAY
Continue practice with pronouns. You will thank me later.
FRIDAY
Quiz over pronouns. Learn numbers 0-30.
I'd expect the first exam to be next week, perhaps Thursday. We'll see.
